All animals living at Ars Terra will be rescued from Factory Farms.

Animals are the biggest part of the whole picture of Ars Terra. With the necessary acreage to give ample space to roam, secure shelters built from natural materials to provide safe surroundings, constructed wetlands for natural water cycling and organic foods to supplement their recovery, Ars Terra will be an innovative model for creating habitat and refuge for those animals born into pain and suffering.

Animals are a core element in any complete system. Geese, Ducks, Turkeys and Chickens naturally help in gardens through weeding and pest control; Sheep and Goat manure makes fantastic fertilizer, which can be mulched onto crops and gardens, completing a natural nutrient cycle for healthy plants and vegetables.

Farm Tours: Few things make a more compelling case for thoughtful animal stewardship than meeting these amazing creatures face to face. We will be opening our farm up for public tours on a regular basis.

Special Events: We will be hosting regular events and fundraisers for the animals, and will invite the public to come and help us spread the word that animals DO have rights.

Vegan Cooking Classes: What does one do with all that delicious organic fruit and vegetables? We will teach even the most intrepid carnivore the amazing health benefits of a vegan diet, proving that vegan cuisine is anything but boring. From tasty replacements for burgers and fries to the healthiest raw recipes, we will help you create a relationship with your food that is good for you, good for the environment, and good for the animals.
